FOCUS AREAS
The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce focus areas are Membership Development, Economic Development, Education & Workforce Development and Community Development.


Membership Development



The North Baldwin Chamber will work to enhance and promote the services provided by the Chamber to the members of the organization. Membership benefits will be reviewed annually to ensure the Chamber is providing quality service that is meeting the needs of the membership. The North Baldwin Chamber will work to create networking opportunities for members with fellow business owners, the community and elected officials; will create educational opportunities that are meaningful to members and potential business owners; will maintain regular contact, open communication lines, with existing members to ensure the Chamber is properly speaking with and advocating with one voice; will work with the membership to grow their business; and will always guide the organization with the membership in mind.


Economic Development


The North Baldwin Chamber will facilitate successful business and economic development in North Baldwin County. This endeavor will include existing business development; responsible retail and industry recruitment which will complement the needs of our community and existing businesses; encouraging entrepreneurship and providing resources to potential business owners; promoting tourism opportunities in North Baldwin; and continuing to work in partnership with the Industrial Development Board, Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance, the City of Bay Minette, Baldwin County Commission and other local, state and national Chambers of Commerce and Associations to foster business and economic development for North Baldwin County.



Education and Workforce Development


The North Baldwin Chamber will be a champion for educational achievement and career opportunities in our area. In doing so, the Chamber will work to create interaction between the business community and educational community to ensure that what is being taught in the classroom meets the needs of our area business and industry; will work to communicate education and workforce opportunities to the community at large; will work in partnership with the Baldwin County Public School System, Board of Education, and local colleges and universities to maintain open lines of communication; and will support and promote the work of local schools and educational foundations.


Community Development



The North Baldwin Chamber will work to represent the interests of our members and the community to create a united voice for progress in our area and enhance the quality of life for all residents, business owners and employees. In doing so, the Chamber will work to develop services and events to connect businesses and the community; will work to develop opportunities for volunteers to be involved in the design and delivery of community projects; will plan and deliver events that provide opportunities for joint business and community involvement; will work in partnership with the City of Bay Minette and other community organizations to promote existing community events, programs and projects that enhance the quality of life in the North Baldwin Area; and partner with local nonprofits to promote the development of support and resources for disadvantaged and/or underserved groups in the North Baldwin area.
